Can you recommend an airbrush?

If you are beginner, we recommend the XP series because it is easier to buy and to use.
If you are more than intermediate , use Evolution and Colani, which have double action, so more advanced and free expression will be possible.

I would like to use the airbrush with the aircan.
How should I do it?

There are two methods.
(1) Using the A&A attachment, you can connect directly to the airbrush.
(2) Using the A&H attachment, you can connect the airbrush and the air can with the hose.

Can I use the airbrush with the compressor of the aircan-direct-connect type?

Yes.
Connect joint valve S-type or L-type, and connect the hose.
For S-type and L-type please adjust to the size which you have.

Why does a bubble come out from paint-cup while using the airbrush?

Check the nozzle and nozzle cap. First, wash the paint solidified inside the nozzle.Next, remove nozzle cap and be sure that paints are not hard.Wash out if solidified. Moreover, since the slack of the nozzle cap is the cause in many cases, please be sure to attach firmly.Put back carefully and slowly, in this order : nozzle cap, nozzle, needle.Pouring the paints, try and blow. Please consult with a specialist once if bubbles still come out.

The air coming out of the airbrush does not stop. What can I do?

There is a problem in the air adjustment valve of airbrush. Please consult with airbrush maker at once.

The paints come out of the airbrush and it does not stop.

One of the causes is a gap between needle and a nozzle. In the case of the edge of a needle decreasing or the diameter of a nozzle spreading too much, it is necessary to exchange. However, even if you changed it, please do not throw it away in a hurry because the possible cause is not only the above.
In addition, when you use paint of strong thinner system, O ring (a part made by rubber used for a nozzle and a nozzle cap, a needle) expands by thinner and may cause damage, and it becomes the cause that paint spills. Please change O ring.

Which type of cup should I choose?

Please look at the selection page of the airbrush (kind of cup) on this site.

Is it difficult to maintenance the airbrush or to exchange parts?

No.The structure of the airbrush which we deal with is easy to disassemble. You can do it very easily.

What much size of nozzle caliber should I chose?

Generally 0.3 or 0.4mm is the standard.

Water comes out during spraying. What should I do?

First if the tank has been attached to the compressor, please pull out the water from the drain ¡ÊBe sure that the power supply is turned off. Please never do it in a place where dust or sand can get in.¡Ë
After you take out the water in the tank, close the drain mouth and turn it on.
Continue just taking the air out, never putting paint into the airbrush.
Water may not stop after doing that, especially in a humid place or wet season.
Please dry the room when you work indoors.
In addition, there is also the method of removing moisture by using on air filter.

Please give me some advice to chose a good compressor.

The pressure and operation sound of air are important. You can paint usually if there are 0.1 MPa of air pressure.Although air pressure can be lower, it cannot be higher. So, generally, it is no problem if about 0.2 or about 0.3 MPa of air pressure is securable. And the operation sound of the compressor for airbrushes is comparatively quiet.

The paint coming out of the airbrush is like thread. Why?

The paint may be too heavy.Weaken the paint, and pour it again.

May I add a paint or the thinning liquid directly into the cup?

The best way is firstly adjusting it to the appropriate density, but if you want to fine-tune it, you can do that. But try spraying enough for a test because the paint which flowed into around nozzles may not be well stirred. A change in density can be detected by the sound of spraying.

Do I have to change the paint according to the materials?

With Metal Craft Paint by Airtex, you can paint all materials.Since it is a water acrylic enamel liquid paint, there isn't the smell of thinner nor an oily system, and it can thin with water. It is used after thinning with about 10% water when using it with an airbrush. There is no necessity for priming (it is made easy to adhere to the surface with sandpaper etc.), and direct paint is possible as it is. without surface preparation.

Please give me some advice to fix the airbrush after washing it.

After washing, grease is applied thinly, in the passage of the body where the needle and the needle of the airbrush enter and each oring and around that. When using the paint of a thinner system, it can be use comfortably by applying grease.

What should be done for washing the paint which has solidified in the nozzle?

First before removing the nozzle, be sure to pull out the needle.
(Note: Using both hands, please pull out slowly and delicately.)
And a cleaner is put into a small container and the nozzle is dipped into the liquid.
If the cleaner of thinner type was used, just soak the paint of 8 tenths or more falls.
It cleans using a soft brush after that.
With the cleaner for water paint, however removing the paint which became completely firm in the nozzle it is very difficult.
In that case, if the needle for washing is used, it can be take out finely.(It is exclusively for an H&S airbrush. It cannot be used for HANSA or the makes of an other company.)
(Notes: When you insert a washing needle in a nozzle, or when you fail to shave a paint, turning, please make it the business which never puts in too much power. As for that, the caliber of a nozzle causes spreading and modification.)

Tell me how to wash a needle.

(1). A cleaner and soft cloth are prepared first.
(2). Next, a needle is extracted from hand piece (main part of an airbrush). Please be sure to extract carefully.
(3). A cleaner is included in cloth and the cloth pinches the thickest portion of a needle.
(4). A needle is slowly extracted so that a needle may not be bent.At this time, a needle is surely extracted completely. When you return a needle, please take great care not to bend the needle point, and return slowly.

Please give me more advice on washing an airbrush.

A caliber size 0.2 to 0.6mm precise airbrush must be washed frequently. The precision airbrush has 0.2 to 0.6mm caliber size and must be dealt with carefully. Washing of needle and around nozzle is Especially important. Take out the paints cup early as possible after using. Keep the important passage between the cup and the nozzle clean. It is important to make these habit. Because some people think that washing an airbrush is very troublesome, they give up airbrush.
It is important to keep the body of an airbrush beautiful, making prudent the handling of the needle and the nozzle when washing.
Please keep it in mind, exchange of O-ring is also important when using a thinner.
